Residential SalesSimar Gill has been dreaming, living and breathing real estate since he was a boy. While he gained degrees in business and economics, later topped off with an MBA, Simar always knew his future would be in real estate.
Immediately after graduation he worked with a development company, gaining invaluable insights into the property industry, before joining his father’s real estate agency.
Migrating to Australia with his wife, a Rail Project Manager, Simar gravitated to Parramatta as his preferred place to live and work, drawn by the abundant opportunities as Sydney’s second CBD asserts itself as the social, cultural and business capital of the west.
Simar’s approach to customer service is influenced by his formative years in Delhi India, where there is less reliance on marketing and more emphasis on building the relationships that will lead to a successful transaction. Therefore you must work harder to achieve every sale.
Some of his most memorable sales have involved the delicate art of negotiation, in which he has been able to find the common ground between vendor and buyer, so that each party walks away happy with the outcome.
Customers place a high value on Simar’s honest and informed advice, his willingness to walk away from an opportunity rather than win a listing through an unachievable and unrealistic price guidance. This adherence to service with integrity has translated into strong and enduring relationships that have helped to build his reputation.
There is the bonus, too, of Simar’s economics background, and with it his ability to understand how global trends might impact the local market.
Outside of work Simar is a die-hard Manchester United fan, a regular 10km runner and voracious reader of self-help books, following the recommendations of billionaire philanthropist Bill Gates.
His personal regimen is based on extracting the most out of every single day, rising at 4:30am, in the gym by 5am, into the office at 7am, and never leaving before 6pm. It’s a disciplined approach that allows him to give maximum attention to his customers and still find time for the good things in life.
